Born in Milan, Italy mother Italian , father German. Grew up in Italy then moved to Germany where he finished his ‘Gymnasium’ ,the equivalent of College in Germany. His first impact with the world of business was during the last years of college when he worked part time at the Kaufhof superstores in the shoe department. Enriched by his first retail sales activity he felt it easy relating to others what helped him after moving back to Milan, attending the prestigious Univeristita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, since he started immediately working in the public relations of Onceas SpA, the family owned business, official distributors of Fujifilm in Italy. Only 21 years old, he helped organize the services of Fujifilm during Italia 90 Soccer world Cup with success. He was part of all marketing activities of Fujifilm in Italy in the 90’, being it trade shows, road shows, meetings, congresses, the formula 1 championship, the Nordic Ski world Championship, he developed an natural feeling for marketing and PR related activities. Trying to satisfy his passion for computers and electronics in 1995 he started working for Elettrodata an OEM manufacturer of computer hardware. He handled retail sales for one store and soon began exploration for new business opportunities and products, successfully introducing for example the Virtual Reality gaming helmet to the Italian market. After graduating from Bocconi University he joined the family company. First transforming its logistics and EDP processing, upgrading its systems and procedures, he then started to change its marketing activities. Leading Fujifilm from one success to another, thanks to very aggressive marketing campaigns, then to the first ever in Italy comparative advertising against Polaroid. Christian was host at Microsoft conventions thanks to his innovative introduction of B2B web presence, as well as one of the first to introduce e-commerce in italy. He was even hosted to speak of his strategy at the 2000 convention of Assinform. His success in the marketing field led to being invited by Cattolica university to lecture at least once a year in front of mba classes about his marketing strategy. Another reward for his passion and determination came when he was elected in 2001 as president of AIF (Associazione Italiana Fotocine) the sectors industrial association, where he led an aggressive campaign for change and modernization, but led to his resignation in early 2002 due to heavy contrast with too conservative competitors. In these years he followed in particular two tasks, one was renewing the company, a patriarchal, typical family owned and run business into a managerial style multinational like company, adaptable to change and to the challenges ahead. He managed to draw into the company new employees, especially very skilled top managers coming from competitors, building an exclusive and dedicated team. The second most important task, was to restructure the company to make it appreciable for Fujifilm itself to acquire it. Well aware of the risks of technological change, market structure modifications, the family business has to be sold n order to guarantee its survival. After years of personally conducting the negotiations finally in December 2002 the company was sold to Fuji Photo Film Europe. Christian was so able to complete his journey, but not after having expanded sales for the group from 40 Million Euro in 1997 to 100 Million Euro in 2002, having increased market share in traditional film by 40%, and gaining a number 2 position in the emerging digital camera market. His negotiations and human skills were also tested thanks to his engagement as managing director of Onceas Film Industry Spa, a production facility for amateur films, south of Rome. Founded during the times of import restrictions to Japanese goods in the late 80s it had no more reason to exist in the last years and was running inefficiently. Gradually Christian managed to reduce costs handling very peaceful relationship with the labor unions, eventually reaching an agreement to layoff all personnel and liquidate the company. Contrarily to what happens in these situations in this area of Italy where fights and strikes are normal in these cases, Christian proved his exceptional negotiating skills generating no fight whatsoever, no strikes , indeed instead in the last weeks of production before the layoffs and shutdown of operations the factory was running at 100% of efficiency, the workers even putting in extra time on Saturdays to have the production completed. In early 2003, Christian faces his new challenge. Moving again to another country, changing completely business he creates PRIMO CPS LLC, a Florida based company involved in wholesale and retail of high end men,s apparel, and especially in bringing for the first time to the area of Miami the real Italian made to measure men,s suits. In 2005 Christian transforms PRIMO CPS from a retail oriented business into wholesale oriented. As such the first flagship store that was opened in December 2003 in Coral Gables, PRIMO MILANO, is being closed, only to be reopened in a new location thanks to an exclusive distributorship agreement with BECCA INC. Owned by Rebecca Euceda and Bibiana Velasquez. Thanks to this new relationship PRIMO MILANO merchandise is available in three locations in Miami, just off Miracle Mile on Ponce de Leon Blvd in Coral Gables, in the busy jeweler’s district in Downtown Miami and as a wholesale outlet in the Miami Merchandise Mart. Now Christian has more time to dedicate himself to yet another startup venture. Thanks to the experience he gathered in real estate in his short but intensive time in Miami he awards himself with a real estate sales associate license first, then a mortgage broker license and finally with a correspondent mortgage lender license for his new startup mortgage banking company PARINVEST LLC. Today Christian is fully dedicated in the field of Real Estate, be it residential, commercial or business opportunities, he is able to provide a full range of services from consulting, to brokerage to financing. Thanks to his background in corporate management and finance, his international education, and his very own investment experiences in Miami he is capable of achieving a significant competitive advantage to other players in the Miami real estate landscape.
